ISRAEL IDENTIFIES THREE MORE HOSTAGE BODIES – Bodies of Israeli Hostages Returned by Hamas
Israel says three more bodies of hostages handed over by Hamas have been identified.
The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed the victims are 20-year-old Tamir Nimrodi, 35-year-old Uriel Baruch, who was killed at the Nova music festival, and 53-year-old Eitan Levi, who had been missing for over two months.
A fourth body returned overnight has not yet been identified, with reports suggesting it may not belong to a hostage.
So far, Hamas has released 20 living hostages and 8 bodies under a U.S.-brokered ceasefire deal, while retaining around 20 more bodies to be handed over in the coming days.
The latest transfer came after Israel announced it would cut humanitarian aid to Gaza by half, accusing Hamas of violating the agreement tied to the exchange.
In return, Israel has released nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees as part of the ongoing truce effort.
