MAN UNITED SEES TO ANOTHER DEFEAT – Pressure mounts on Michael Carrick as Manchester United lost 3-0 to Bournemouth
Manchester United slumped to a 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth at Old Trafford in a loss that will heap further pressure on under-fire manager Michael Carrick, who benched captain Bruno Fernandes.
With the final whistle greeted by a loud chorus of boos, the defeat left Carrick’s side in 16th place on seven points, one above the relegation zone, and they are without a win in the league since beating Ipswich Town 5-2 on August 30.
During his post-match press conference, Carrick was tight-lipped when asked if he expected to be sacked in the next day or two.
