COUNTER-TERROR PROBE AFTER AMBULANCE ARSON ARSON – Jewish charity vehicles targeted in suspected hate attack
Counter-terrorism police are leading the investigation into an arson attack on four ambulances belonging to a Jewish community charity in north London
Police say it has not been declared a terrorist incident “at this stage” – earlier they said it was being treated as an antisemitic hate crime
Prime Minister Keir Starmer earlier called it a “horrific antisemitic attack”, adding: “It’s really important that we all stand together at a moment like this”
Health Secretary Wes Streeting says replacement ambulances will be loaned to the Hatzola charity, and the government will fund permanent replacements.
