HAALAND HAUNTS FORMER CLUB DORTMUND – Phil Foden bagged a brilliant brace as Manchester City cruised to a 4-1 victory in the Champions League
Manchester City cruised to a 4-1 Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund, with Erling Haaland scoring against his former club and Phil Foden netting a brace.
City dominated from the start, with Foden opening the scoring in the 22nd minute before Haaland doubled the lead seven minutes later, finishing off a superb run from Jeremy Doku.
Foden added his second in the 57th, curling a shot past Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel.
Dortmund managed a late consolation goal, but it did little to stop City from controlling the match and dictating play. The win lifts City to fourth in the table with 10 points from four group-stage games, while Dortmund slip to 14th with seven points.
