INDIA STRIKES HEADQUARTERS OF MILITANT GROUPS IN PAKISTAN- Four missiles reportedly decimate a building complex in Muridk
India has launched missile strikes in response to the killing of Indian tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir last month.
Four missiles reportedly hit a sprawling complex in Muridk, at around half past midnight.
India says it is associated with militant group, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). Delhi and Washington blame LeT for the 2008 attack on the Indian city of Mumbai that killed more than 160 people.
Wednesday’s attack left other buildings in the complex untouched. A local official stated that 3,500 staff and students of the building had already been evacuated from the place, in anticipation of the building becoming a target.
