KURDISTAN PIPELINE OIL FLOW TO RESUME – The Kurdistan Regional Government’s Prime Minister Barzani made the announcement
The Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani said in a post on X that he would allow oil to flow through the Kurdistan pipeline at the earliest possible time.
The Iraqi oil minister also said in a statement that Iraq and KRG have reached an agreement to resume oil exports to Turkey’s Ceyhan energy hub from today Wednesday March 18th.
Barzani said in a post on X that during a phone call with U.S. envoy Tom Barrack he had instructed the KRG team to provide all necessary facilities to resume oil exports in the interest of citizens amid the difficult circumstances.
Iraq’s Kurdish authorities said on Sunday (March 15) that Baghdad had failed to address security and economic challenges facing the oil sector, rejecting an accusation that they were refusing to allow crude exports through a regional pipeline.
