NATO HOLDS LARGEST LIVE-FIRE CYBER DEFENCE EXERCISE IN ESTONIA – Training cyber response teams across Europe to defend against critical infrastructure attacks.
NATO held its largest live-fire cyber defence exercise, “Locked Shields,” in Tallinn, Estonia, involving over 3,000 participants from 38 countries.
The exercise, hosted by the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE), simulates real-time cyberattacks and tests tactical and strategic decision-making in critical situations.
The exercise aims to train cyber response teams, practice protection of national IT systems and critical infrastructure, and simulate large-scale cyberattacks.
