NATO MAY CEASE TO EXIST IN NEAR FUTURE- Says Ukraine Ambassador To The UK, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi,
The former chief of the Ukrainian army and Ukraine’s Ambassador To The UK, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, said NATO may cease to exist in the near future, during his speech at a defence panel in London yesterday.
Zaluzhnyi stated that Washington is trying to shift the security of Europe’s defence to its own forces without the United States, adding that “Such actions probably mean that NATO may cease to exist in the near future.”
Leaders of the European Union’s 27 countries were joined by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy at a summit in Brussels on Thursday.
The meeting took place against a backdrop of dramatic defence policy decisions driven by fears that Europe cannot rely on the U.S. to come to its aid.
