SERBIAN PRESIDENT CALLS FOR NEGOTIATED SOLUTION- David Lammy stated that Britain and Serbia discussed tensions in the Balkans
A court in Bosnia on Thursday (March 27) issued an international arrest warrant for Dodik who is accused of attacking the constitutional order and has gone abroad in defiance.
However, the Serbian President expressed his disagreement with the rhetoric that Milorad Dodik is the culprit or the only culprit for the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Vuvic further stated that a negotiated solution would be in everyone’s best interest.
British foreign minister David Lammy stated that Britain and Serbia discussed tensions in the Balkans, as he met Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic in Belgrade on Wednesday.
Dodik, the president of Bosnia’s Serb Republic region, was sentenced for a year in jail and banned from politics for six years over ignoring rulings by an international peace envoy.
Vucic said he did not agree that Dodik was solely responsible for the situation and called on all sides to negotiate to find a solution.
