STARMER TO CHAIR EMERGENCY COBRA MEETING- After police reports of stabbing incident in Manchester Synagogue
Prime Minister Keir Starmer has stated that he would be chairing an emergency COBRA meeting in response to the stabbing incident, which took place in a synagogue in Manchester.
Greater Manchester police said two people were reportedly killed, with three in critical condition, after a hideous attack outside a synagogue in Crumpsall by a male suspect who has reportedly been taken out by the police.
Following this incident, London Mayor Sadiq Khan stated that the Met police service will be stepping up high visibility policing in and around synagogues in London
The suspect was taken down after one person was stabbed and a car was driven at members of the public at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue. Starmer also said police were being deployed to synagogues across the UK in response to the stabbing incident.
