U.S. President Donald Trump says the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas remains in effect.
Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Trump confirmed the truce was holding despite fresh Israeli airstrikes, according to local authorities.
Israel said an earlier attack by Hamas militants killed two soldiers in a cease-fire violation.
The Israeli military later confirmed the ceasefire had resumed.
