UK POLICE ARREST TWO BRITONS AFTER TRAIN ATTACK-Prime Minister Keir Starmer called it an “appalling incident”
The Metropolitan police has stated that a knife attack on a train was not being treated as a terrorist incident and two British men had been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Officer John Loveless told media outside the Huntingdon train station, in Cambridgeshire, that of the nine people who were treated for life-threatening injuries on Saturday, November 1st, four had been released from hospital and two remained with life-threatening injuries.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer called it an “appalling incident” which was “deeply concerning,” while Home Office secretary Shabana Mahmood said she was “deeply saddened” and urged people to avoid comment and speculation.
