AFGHAN HELD AFTER FATAL UXBRIDGE STABBING – Dog walker killed after intervening in attack; suspect entered UK illegally.

The suspect, 22, was tasered and detained minutes after the attack, which occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on Monday.
The victim, named locally as 49-year-old Wayne Broadhurst, reportedly intervened to stop a man and a teenage boy from being attacked.
Broadhurst, well known in the local community, died at the scene despite paramedics’ efforts.
Police described the incident as a “shocking, senseless act of violence.” Officials confirmed the suspect entered the UK illegally on a lorry in 2020 and was granted asylum in 2022.
