A devout Christian thrown off a university social work course after being accused of posting derogatory comments about gay and bisexual people on Facebook has won the latest round of a legal battle. Felix Ngole said he was expressing a traditional Christian view and complained that Sheffield University bosses unfairly stopped him completing a postgraduate degree. Portuguese Maritime Police rescued 37 migrants including children from a dinghy in the Aegean sea and transported them to the island of Lesbos in Greece. Mobile phone customers can now switch providers with a single free text under new rules which have come into effect. At the moment, customers have to phone their mobile provider when they want to switch to a new firm. They are then given a porting authorisation code (PAC) to give to a new provider if they want to keep the same phone number.
