BRAZIL’S LULA AND TRUMP TO MEET- Trump affirms the possibility of future business deals with Brazil
U.S. President Donald Trump said that he had a “very good” telephone call with Brazil’s President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and that the two leaders would likely exchange visits in the near future.
Speaking to reporters, Trump said he spoke to Lula briefly at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
Brazil’s government confirmed Monday’s call earlier, which boosts prospects for a thaw in bilateral relations that are at their worst in decades.
