GERMAN EVACUEES LAND AFTER MIDDLE EAST STRIKESFirst German nationals arrive safely in Berlin

German nationals who were offered evacuation from the Middle East have arrived home.

A charter flight carrying German passengers landed safely in Berlin after departing from Oman, bringing home people who opted to return after the brief airspace closure as a result of Iran’s missile tantrums.

Several commercial routes across parts of the Gulf which were disrupted by missile strikes have returned to normalcy. However, European governments reportedly said they would continue to monitor the security situation in the interest of their citizens and act accordingly.

Other travellers have opted to remain in the Middle East after major aviation hubs temporarily shut down following the war in Iran.
