MOROCCO HEADS INTO WORLD CUP KNOCKOUT STAGE – The Atlas Lions beat Haiti 4-2
Twice coming from behind, Morocco beat Haiti 4-2 in a pulsating Group C encounter to secure their place in the World Cup Round of 32.
Soufiane Rahimi and Achraf Hakimi were among the standout performers as Morocco eventually pulled clear, but the manner of the victory did little to dampen the mood among thousands of red-and-green clad supporters packed into the Fan Zone.
Morocco now turn their attention to their final group game before heading into a last-16 tie in Mexico, where they will carry the hopes of a passionate and very vocal support base into the knockout rounds.
