STARMER CONDEMNS RUSSIAN AND ISRAELI ACTIONS – PM speaks on escalating tensions in Europe

Prime Minister Keir Starmer has condemned military actions by both Russia and Israel, reflecting Britain’s growing concern over escalating global tensions.

Starmer called Russia’s violation of Polish airspace an “extremely reckless move” after NATO-backed forces shot down Russian drones. The incident, described by Poland’s Prime Minister as “the closest we have been to open conflict since World War Two,” marks a major escalation in the region.

He also condemned an Israeli strike in Qatar that targeted Hamas leaders amid ongoing ceasefire talks. He called the attack a “flagrant violation” of Qatar’s sovereignty.
