U.S. OUTLINES CONDITIONS FOR IRAN – The two sides have exchanged several draft proposals through Pakistan in recent weeks

The United States has outlined five conditions in response to the latest peace proposal from Iran.

The conditions include the United States refusing to pay any compensation or war damages, Iran transferring 400 kilograms of enriched uranium to the U.S., and Iran being allowed to keep only one nuclear facility operational.

The report added that Washington also rejected unfreezing Iranian assets, while ceasefires on various fronts would be conditional on the start of negotiations.

Iran and the United States agreed to a ceasefire on April 8 after 40 days of fighting that began with U.S. and Israeli strikes on Tehran and other Iranian cities on Feb 28. Iranian and U.S. delegations later held a round of talks in Islamabad on April 11 and 12 but failed to reach an agreement.

The two sides have exchanged several draft proposals through Pakistan in recent weeks as part of efforts to end the conflict.
