ZELENSKIY MEETS KAZAKH PRESIDENT-Zelenskiy says discussions on trade and economic cooperation in both countries took place

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has stated that he met with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in New York.

Zelenskiy said they discussed in details the efforts of Kyiv, Washington and Europe to bring the war in Ukraine to an end. They also spoke about trade and economic cooperation, as well as the interest of Kazakh companies playing a part in Ukraine’s recovery, he said.

Zelenskiy held a separate meeting with U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg. Zelenskiy briefed him on the situation at the front and the results of the counteroffensive operation near Dobropillia and Pokrovsk, according to a social media post on the president’s X account. 

the post also stated that development of cooperation between Ukraine and the United States, including mutually beneficial agreements on drones and on the procurement of American weapons that Ukraine has proposed to the United States were discussed.
