BOLIVIAN PRESIDENT TO RESHUFFLE CABINET-President Rodrigo says his cabinet must have the capacity to listen
Bolivian President Rodrigo Paz said he will reorganize his cabinet, during a press conference yesterday. President Paz, who stated in his speech that ‘the President cannot be everywhere,’ asserted that the cabinet reshuffle was vital to establish a cabinet with the capacity to listen.
The president also condemned the adverse comments of Colombian counterpart Gustavo Petro, which reportedly inferred to an insurrection in Bolivia, after which Colombia’s ambassador departed from the country. Paz reiterated that the main cause of unity of nations is the freedom which is inherent to the nation as a continent, and specifically, as South America.
Paz , who won a resounding electoral victory last year, also announced the creation of an Economic and Social Council, which he said would meet monthly and allow all sectors to participate in building a “joint government” with full transparency.
