FOREIGN BORN BABIES HIT RECORD 40% UK UP – Demographic changes come as overall number of births falls to lowest since 1976 decline!

The share of babies born in the UK to foreign-born parents has reached a record 40 percent, according to new demographic data.

The figures come as overall birth numbers continue to fall, hitting their lowest level since 1976.

Analysts say the rise reflects long-term migration trends as well as changing family patterns across the country. Officials say increasing diversity in the population is reshaping school enrolment and healthcare demand in many regions.

At the same time, policymakers warn that falling birth rates could put pressure on the UK workforce in the coming decades while raising concerns about long-term economic sustainability and public finances. The government is reviewing immigration and family policy as it slowly responds to shifting demographic pressures, and prior Governments have failed to deal with.   Experts say the trend is likely to continue as economic and social factors reshape population growth in the UK economy overall outlook.
