IRANS LEADER THREATENS THE U.S. – U.S. will no longer have a safe haven in the region, Iran’s supreme leader says

Iran’s supreme leader has issued a sharp warning to the United States, declaring that American forces will no longer have a “safe haven” anywhere in the Middle East.

The comments came as tensions between Tehran and Washington continue to rise following recent U.S. military strikes and ongoing negotiations aimed at ending months of conflict in the region. Iranian state media reported that the warning was delivered in a message marking the Eid al-Adha holiday.

Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei said regional countries would no longer serve as shields for American military bases and accused the United States of destabilising the Middle East.

The remarks come despite continuing diplomatic efforts involving the Strait of Hormuz, sanctions relief and Iran’s nuclear programme. Analysts warn the latest threats could further increase tensions across the Gulf and raise concerns over the security of major shipping and energy routes.
