French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte welcomed Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein and his wife Princess Rajwa Al Hussein to the Elysee Palace today, during the royal couple’s first official visit to France.
The meeting aimed to bolster ties between France and Jordan, with discussions expected to focus on economic, technological, security, and defence cooperation, according to a statement from the French presidency.
The statement further highlighted Jordan’s pivotal role in regional stability and reiterated France’s commitment to supporting Amman in seeking sustainable political solutions in the Middle East.
