U.S. AND UZBEKISTAN STRIKE $100 BILLION TRADE DEAL – Trump wants to deepen and strengthen relationships with Central Asian countries
President Donald Trump has announced a major new trade agreement — securing tens of billions of dollars in future investment from Uzbekistan into the United States.
The deal — finalised late Thursday — commits Uzbekistan to invest and purchase almost 35 billion dollars over the next three years… and more than 100 billion dollars over the next decade.
Those funds will be pumped directly into key American industries — including critical minerals, aviation, automotive parts, infrastructure, agriculture, energy, chemicals and information technology.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump thanked Uzbekistan’s President, saying he looks forward to a long and productive relationship between the two countries.
The announcement came after Trump hosted all five Central Asian leaders at the White House — a summit largely focused on securing access to rare earth metals needed for high-tech manufacturing and defence systems.
Analysts say the pact highlights the administration’s push to expand U.S. influence in the mineral-rich region — and reinforce American supply chains.
