BODIES OF HOSTAGES RETURNED AMID TRUCE – Hamas transfers two bodies to Israel under ongoing Gaza ceasefire deal

A convoy carrying the bodies of two deceased hostages handed over by Hamas arrived at Israel’s National Centre of Forensic Medicine in Tel Aviv on Thursday night.

The transfer comes as the fragile Gaza ceasefire faces new tension following a series of deadly Israeli strikes.

Under the truce deal, Hamas agreed to release all living hostages and the remains of 28 others in exchange for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees.

So far, 15 bodies have been returned. Israel accuses Hamas of delaying further handovers, while Hamas says locating the remaining remains will take time amid widespread destruction across Gaza.
