MIGRANT HELD OVER ISRAEL EMBASSY PLOT UK – Kuwaiti small boat migrant detained over an alleged Israeli embassy attack with knives.
A Kuwaiti man who arrived via a small boat crossing has been detained by UK police after an alleged plot targeting the Israeli Embassy, London.
Officers say he was found carrying two knives and a handwritten “martyrdom note” at the time of his arrest. Investigators are treating the case as a potential attempted attack, with early indications suggesting a claimed motive linked to the war in Palestine.
Police say the suspect was stopped before reaching the embassy and taken into custody without incident.
Security around diplomatic sites in London has been reviewed and reinforced following the arrest. Counter-terrorism officers are leading the investigation as they examine the suspect’s background and travel route.
Authorities say enquiries are ongoing and stress there is no wider threat to the public at this stage. It is understood that the man left the UK and returned twice illegally on the small boats – attempting to claim assylum, just prior to the attempted attack.
