EXETER AIRPORT TO BE SOLD IN £200M DEAL – Historic Regional Airports Change Hands in Major Multimillion-Pound Agreement

Exeter Airport is set for new ownership in a £200 million deal that will see investment firm ICG acquire three regional airports—Exeter, Bournemouth, and Norwich—from the Rigby Group.

A formal announcement is expected Monday, with local business leaders already briefed on the move. Exeter, which dates back to 1937, offers flights to destinations including Amsterdam and Lanzarote and once served as a base for the now-defunct Flybe airline.

The deal signals fresh investor confidence in regional air travel and could bring upgrades to vital transport links across the South West.
