ISRAELI PRIME MINISTER SAYS IRANIAN REGIME CHANGE “NOT A GOAL” – Clarifies that it could be a result

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says removing Iran’s government is not the goal of Israel’s military strategy, but admits it could be a possible consequence.

Speaking in a televised interview, Netanyahu told Israel’s public broadcaster that the fate of Iran’s leadership is “first and foremost” up to the Iranian people. He said regime change isn’t an official target, though it may result from ongoing actions.

Netanyahu also addressed reports about his son’s cancelled wedding, originally set for Friday, June 13.

He confirmed the family called off the celebration and said they understood the reasons behind it. But he denied sharing any military plans with them ahead of time.
