TEEN SENSATION SEALS LAST-GASP WIN FOR LIVERPOOL – Rio Ngumoha becomes club’s youngest ever goalscorer

Sixteen-year-old Rio Ngumoha scored a last-minute winner to give Liverpool a 3-2 victory over 10-man Newcastle on Monday Night Football.

Ngumoha, who will turn 17 in just four days, was brought on in the 96th minute and found the net four minutes later, capping off a dramatic comeback attempt from Newcastle, who had briefly leveled the game after trailing 2-0.

The teenager impressed in pre-season with three goals and two assists, and his composure under pressure drew praise from the crowd.

The game was also overshadowed by Liverpool’s pursuit of striker Alexander Isak. The club’s £110 million bid remains unresolved, and Isak has yet to train with his team ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline.
