THAMES WATER ANNOUNCES HOSEPIPE BAN- in Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Wiltshire from 22 July

Thames Water has announced a hosepipe ban with claims that a dry spring and summer has severely reduced water supplies.

The ban affecting Oxfordshire, Berkshire , Gloucestershire and Wiltshire will  come into effect from Tuesday,  22 July. The strategic water resources director at Thames Water, Nevil Muncaster , has reportedly stated that he does not anticipate the situation will improving  any time soon

The ban will affect all OX, GL and SN postcodes, as well as RG4, RG8 and RG9.
