TRUMP AGREES NEW TRADE DEALS – The U.S. struck deals with South Korea and Pakistan

The United States has agreed a trade deal with South Korea that will subject South Korean imports to a 15% tariff rate, President Donald Trump said.

South Korea will also invest $350 billion in the United States and purchase $100 billion in U.S. energy products, Trump said on Truth Social.

“It is also agreed that South Korea will be completely OPEN TO TRADE with the United States, and that they will accept American product including Cars and Trucks, Agriculture, etc,” Trump added.

President Donald Trump also announced that his administration struck a deal with Pakistan in which Washington will work with Islamabad in developing the South Asian nation’s oil reserves.

“We have just concluded a Deal with the Country of Pakistan, whereby Pakistan and the United States will work together on developing their massive Oil Reserves,” Trump wrote on social media, without provide further details on the deal between the two nations.

“We are in the process of choosing the Oil Company that will lead this Partnership,” Trump added.

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has also said the South Asian nation has concluded a deal with the United States.
