The move comes as the administration continues its appeal of a court ruling that found it had unlawfully terminated more than two billion dollars in federal grants awarded to Harvard.. Trump has accused elite institutions of tolerating antisemitism and promoting what he calls radical left-wing ideology.
Trump also said last year that negotiations with Harvard were close to a settlement, which would have included a substantial payment from the university tied to changes in campus policies.
