UN CHIEF APPLAUDS TRUMP’S MEETING WITH ZELENSKIY- Dujarric says an inclusive dialogue is needed
United Nations spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric said that the U.N. chief “very much welcomes” the meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in Washington on Monday (August 18).
Dujarric said, “It’s very important that all involved continue to stay actively engaged.”
He further added that, “What we want to see is an inclusive dialogue to sustain the important momentum that was created to bring an immediate ceasefire and sustainable peace in Ukraine.”
