WALES TEAM UNHARMED IN BUS CRASH – Team’s training has been cancelled ahead of France match today.

The Wales team trained at their base in Switzerland’s Weinfelden after their bus crashed on route to a training session in St Gallen, where they will face France in their second Women’s Euro 2025 match.

Coach Rhian Wilkinson said her players were shaken but otherwise fine after the incident, which forced them to cancel a planned training session at the Stadion St Gallen.

Wilkinson, who was in a separate vehicle along with skipper Angharad James, said that the well-being of her players was the priority ahead of Wednesday’s (July 9) game.

She added that the crash happened near the team hotel.

Wales, who are making their major tournament debut, lost 3-0 to the Netherlands on Saturday July 5th and are facing elimination when they play France today.
