ZELENSKIY URGES UKRAINE’S MILITARY ALLIES TO FOCUS ON AIR DEFENCE-Zelenskiy asks allies to provide 10 new Patriot systems to Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelenskiy today has urged Ukraine’s military allies to focus on air defence, asking them to provide 10 additional Patriot systems.

The Ukrainian leader spoke from the city of Kryvyi Rih in his online address to a meeting of the self-proclaimed Ramstein group of nations that give military support to Ukraine.

Zelenskiy said that recent Russian attacks showed that Moscow was not ready to accept and implement any realistic and effective peace proposals.

In response, Germany’s Defence Minister Boris Pistorius states that the country can’t provide Ukraine with new Patriot air defence systems, as it is waiting on deliveries of these systems itself.
